AT&T has announced the LG G Pad X 10.1 tablet, this version is the carrier’s edition of the LG G Pad II 10.1 which would be showcased at the IFA 2015 in Berlin this week.
It goes on sale online starting September 4 and in AT&T stores starting September 11th; the LG G Pad X 10.1 is available in Brilliant Bronze hue for $249.99 on a two year agreement and $17.50 for 20 months with an AT&T Tablet Instalment Plan.
Running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, the LG G Pad X 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD) and is powered by the two years old Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.26GHz with 2GB of RAM and 32GB native storage space.
The slate has a front facing 2MP camera, a rear facing 8MP camera and for additional storage there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. The Dual Window split screen feature for multitasking and the much improved Reader mode feature for e-reading are both present.
The LG G Pad X 10.1 comes with the DirecTV app for watching live TV installed on it but requires subscription to be uses and is backed by a 7400mAh battery which is expected to last some hours.
