AT&T has launched a new affordable entertainment-focused Android tablet – AT&T Primetime. It will go on sale this Friday (August 25) via AT&T online and stores for $199.99 outright, $10 per month for 20 months with an installment plan or $29.99 with a two-year contract.
The AT&T Primetime comes pre-loaded with video apps such as DIRECTV and DIRECTV NOW, for easy access to live TV or latest shows and movies on demand. The ‘TV Mode’ feature allows the user access the above apps by touching the Quick Launch button or a single swipe from the home screen or lock screen.
The tablet sports a large 10-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA display, 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB), and 5MP front and rear facing cameras. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and boots Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS
It also has dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Audio and dual bluetooth media streams to listen to up to two bluetooth headsets or speakers at the same time. Power is delivered by a 9,070mAh battery, which is expected to last up to 11 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching videos or listening to music.
