Axon Phone: ZTE Sub-Brand to launch a high-end smartphone 4GB RAM in the US

ZTE is entering the US markets with a new high end brand of smartphone called Axon and the first device tipped from the new Sub-brand is the Axon Phone. The company has not made any public announcement about the Axon Phone but the inquisitive ones have traced the ownership of the website – axonphone.com back to ZTE.

Specs details about the Axon Phone are very scarce at the moment but some of what to expect are further added to make people want the device. It would have 4GB of RAM on-board which only the likes of the ASUS Zenfone 2, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro and Lenovo K80 has at the moment. It expected to be powered by a lightening fast processor, any takers Qualcomm, Mediatek or Intel? Qualcomm is more likely. 

Other tipped Axon Phone specs includes a rear Dual Lens camera with Dual LED flash, 4K Video support, Hi-Fi audio recording and playback support via a twin microphones and a front facing camera that can take selfies by just detecting the user’s smile.

The device has a simplistic looking Android UI, promises a large battery capacity, has a premium metal body build and has speaker grilles at top and bottom. 

ZTE is expected to launch the Axon Phone at an event scheduled for July 14 in New York. It would be available in Chromium Silver, Ion Gold and Phthalo Blue colour options; and is expected to be priced around the $450 to $500 mark.
