Good news for Windows Phone users.
Blackberry announced the global roll-out of the Blackberry Messenger Services (BBM) to other OS platforms – Android and IOS by September 2013 which normally is a Blackberry exclusive device only. Under the tag – BBM For All (#BBM4all), BBM for Android was available on officially on September 21 while the BBM for iOS was officially available on September 22 and within the first 24hours Blackberry announced over 10 million downloads for the BBM on both platforms.
Blackberry announced this year that it is committed to listening to what customers want and as such BBM would be available on the Windows Phone and Nokia X platforms.
“BBM continues to grow in popularity as millions of people use our mobile platform for chatting and connecting with friends or colleagues, and we are very excited that we will soon welcome Windows Phone and Nokia X users to the BBM community,” John Sims, President, Global Enterprise Solutions at BlackBerry said in a press release.
A Private Beta version of BBM for Windows phone has been spotted on the Windows Phone Store, though no official announcement has been made yet. We will keep you updated as events unfold.

To be able to Download the app, you have to be on the testers list. We hope Blackberry would keep its promise of a July release.
