Netherlands based Luxury Handset maker, Bellperre has announced a new handset which runs Android OS. The Bellperre Touch as it is called, packs mid-range specs and lower pricing (even though it is still expensive for the common man). The device is said to take on devices from UK luxury brand, Vertu.
The Bellperre Touch has a sapphire crystal covered display, it’s body is made from 361L stainless steel and the lower part of the leather display also supports touch operation. User have the option of choosing American Buffalo Alligator leather in different colour options. The device is light weight at 166 grams and measures 138.0 × 69.4 × 9.4mm.
Moving to the specs – the BellPerre Touch features a 4.9-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood is Dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 2GB of RAM, 48GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion. There is a front facing 1.9MP camera alongside a 8MP rear camera with LED flash.
Connectivity options on the device includes – NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, micro USB 2.0, LTE/WCDMA/GSM. It runs on an unnamed version of Android OS. It also has a Single Micro SIM slot. The battery capacity is not stated; it is expected 330 hours on 3G and 14 hours of talktime on 3G.
The Buffalo Leather version costs €2600 and the Alligator leather version costs €3000.
