BenQ alongside Cheetah Mobile have announced plans to showcase some smartphones at the MWC 2015. The smartphones are the BenQ F52, BenQ B50 and BenQ B502.
All three devices will come preloaded with apps from Cheetah Mobile – CM security, Clean Master and GP batteries doctors. Out of the three devices only the BenQ F52 is briefly detailed.
The BenQ F52 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch (1080 x 1920 pixels) Full HD display and would be powered by the 64-bit Qualcomm snapdragon 810 processor (octa-core) and runs Android 5.02 Lollipop OS. It also has a 13MP main camera and a front 8MP snapper for selfies on-board.
While there is no details on RAM and Storage; both would be nothing less than 2GB and 16GB respectively. Since it is a flagship device it would have the standard connectivity suite and LTE may also be thrown in. The battery capacity hopefully will be above 2000mAh as anything less would be a joke.
The Android Lollipop on the device would be skinned and is hinted to be developed by Cheetah Mobile. The smartphone design is reminiscent of the iPhone 5C and the icons on the device are not only thin, they are also Glossy.
From what I hear this would be the first time Cheetah Mobile is attending the Mobile World Congress and it would be prepared to show off its software performance on the above listed BenQ smartphones. Fast forward March 1st, 2015 we would know more about these devices.
