Oppo has been teasing or rather the Oppo R7 has been spotted in a series of hands-on videos; either way the device has been in the news for a while. However details has been sketchy on its full tech specs and when it would be announced.
Reports coming out of China suggests the Oppo R7 would be announced at a dedicated event in China on May 20th and not just that, a bigger model with bigger battery or an improved model with bigger battery dubbed the Oppo R7 Plus is also expected to be announced along with it.
Both the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus are supposedly expected to have a bezel-less display, metal body frame and 2.5D glass on top of the display and maybe at the back too.
The R7 model is said to be around 5mm thin (or possibly lesser), a 4.7-inch display with screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels (Full HD), powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor (64-bit) and packs a rear facing 20.7-megapixels main camera. The device is expected to be backed by a 2000mAh battery and would surely run Android 5.x.x Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
