TCL has added a new device to its growing collection of BB-branded products at the GITEX Technology Week 2017 trade show in Dubai. Blackberry Motion is an all-touchscreen display follow-up to the KeyOne and will be initially available in a limited number of Middle Eastern markets.
According to multiple sources, the Blackberry Motion features a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) IPS LCD 16:9 display, 4GB of RAM, 32GB built-in expandable storage space, USB-C port and a bigger 4,000mAh battery (non-removable) with support for Quick Charge 3.0. It is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.
On the inside, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor and boots the BB customised version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. The device also features a USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor, customisable smart convenience key, Dual SIM capability and 3.5mm headphone jack.
It is also equipped with the same camera setup as the KeyOne i.e a rear 12MP camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash alongside a front facing 8MP Selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and flash. The Locker Mode feature allows the user take password-protected photos and documents with the fingerprint sensor.

As expected, the Motion comes pre-loaded with apps such as DTEK security suite, FIPS 140-2 Full Disk Encryption, Android For Work and Google Play for Work. It supports 4G LTE networks as well as Wi-Fi 802.11ac (5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, and GPS + GLONASS.
The Blackberry Motion will retail for AED 1,699 in UAE and SAR 1,699 in Saudi Arabia, which equates to around US$ 460.
