Blackview has released a slightly better model of the Blackview A7. The new device, dubbed Blackview A7 Pro, is powered by a different processor, the Mediatek MT6737 quad-core SoC with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and LTE connectivity support compared to 1GB RAM and only 3G & 2G network support on its predecessor.

The Blackview A7 Pro features a dual rear cameras i.e a primary 8MP SONY camera with f/2.0 aperture alongside a secondary 0.3MP (VGA) camera for gathering information on field of depth. The front camera is a 5MP GC5025 snapper with soft selfie light, face recognition and other beautify features.

The device ‎has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass and a reported 18.9 screen to body ratio, Silicon Microphone, Dual SIM slots and rear 360-degree touch type fingerprint sensor. It also supports 4G LTE Cat.4 networks, boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and depends on a lasting 2,8000mAh BAK battery.

The Blackview A7 Pro is priced starting at only US$ 83, and will arrive in Champagne Gold, Chocolate Black, Cream White and Jelly Blue colour options.

In related news, Blackview also compared the A7 Pro to Xiaomi’s budget Redmi 4X smartphone which runs the now dated Android Marshmallow OS. The essence of the video is to highlight the effectiveness of its fingerprint sensor due to its back side design and how fast games load on the A7 Pro.
