One of the lesser known Chinese brands, Blackview, recently announced the launched of a new budget-based smartphone – the Blackview E7S. It is a toned down model of the Blackview E7 and skips 4G LTE connectivity – one of the major traction to most Chinese smartphone in the same range.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Blackview E7S sports a 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and 2.5D Curved glass. Performance-wise, it is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580A processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 8 MP camera with Dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, alongside a front facing 2 MP camera for video chats and selfies. A fingerprint sensor sits beneath the main camera on the rear and as mentioned earlier, no 4G LTE support due to the choice of processor.
Power is supplied by a capable 2700 mAh battery which is expected to get through more than half a day of usage. There is no absolutely word on pricing and availability information of the Blackview E7S. Pearl White, Sky Blue and Stardust Grey are the available colour options.
