Blackview has announced the Blackview Omega Pro; an octa-core powered midrange smartphone with LTE support. The device is expected to come with a sub-$150 price tag with some retailers offering it for $149.99.
As mentioned, the Blackview Omega Pro is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MTK6735 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-T720 MP3 GPU. The chipset is paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage space and a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 128GB.
The display is a 5-inch IPS Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. On the back, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and on the front there is a rather small-ish 2MP camera for selfies, video chat.
Connectivity choices on the Blackview Omega Pro includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, 3G, and 4G LTE (FDD-LTE B3/B7/B20 network bands). Gravity, Light sensor, Accelerometer are some of the available sensor options.
The Blackview Omega Pro measures 143.5 x 71.4 x 7.8 mm in dimensions, Dual SIM (Micro + Nano) sllots with Dual Standby, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2400mAh battery. Available colour options are Black and White.
