Blackview, one of the less popular Chinese OEM has listed up a new smartphone in China. Blackview R6, the brand’s latest mid-range smartphone phablet in the ’R’ series is equipped with a rear mounted fingerprint sensor with 360-degree touch type recognition and arrives with a price tag less than US$ 150.
Packed in a plastic body with shining CNC full metal frame, the Blackview R6 sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D Arc screen design, 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and a pixel density of 401 ppi. It boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is backed by a large capacity 3000mAh battery.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.5GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. It has Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with f/1.2 aperture, optical image stabilisation (OIS) and Dual-tone LED flash alongside a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Blackview R6 supports 4G LTE networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Blackview R6 also supports smart, convenient and simple gesture function, and is available in Champagne Gold, Pearl White and Stardust Gray colour options.
