Blackview has officially announced with Blackview Ultra Plus smartphone; the phablet sized device continues the chinese company’s adoption of the iPhone-like design for its smartphone offerings. There is no hint of pricing yet but available colour options are – Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Stardust Gray and Violet Black.
Powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, the Blackview Ultra Plus packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. It sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS In-Cell display with 2.5D glass and measures about 7.8mm thin.
For photography, there is a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with Sony IMX164 Sensor and 5P lens as well as a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies; for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
For quality audio output when listening to music or playing games, the AW8736 audio chip is onboard. The Blackview Ultra Plus runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, has Dual SIM slots, support 4G LTE networks and is backed by an ample 3180mAh battery which is expected to last several hours.
PS: The Blackview Ultra Plus is more or less a bigger and much more improved version of the iPhone clone – Blackview Ultra which ran Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
