BLU Life Max With 2GB RAM, MTK6737 SoC, 3700mAh Battery

US Based, BLU Products has released its recent budget smartphone – the BLU Life Max. The Mediatek SoC powered-device features specs in the low mid-range category and depends on a 3700mAh battery, which is expected to last up to 72 hours (3 days) of moderate usage and 30 days of standby time.

Priced at US$ 129.99, the BLU Life Max has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, a pixel density of 267ppi and comes pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (no word on any potential update to Android Nougat). It is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage space.

In the camera department, there is a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with LED flash fro selfies and video chats. It has Dual SIM slots, supports 4G LTE networks (12, 17, 2, 4, and 7) and equipped with a rear placed fingerprint scanner.

The BLU Life Max is compatible with GSM Carriers including AT&T and T-Mobile but will not work with the likes of Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile or any other CDMA network. To celebrate the launch, BLU in collaboration with Best Buy, is offering about $50 off the main price. The device is available for $75.99 until tomorrow (January 18).
