US based phone manufacturers, BLU has unveiled a new exciting smartphone dubbed the BLU Life Pure XL. BLU is known for releasing decent phones with good specs at reasonable prices.
The Blu Life Pure XL features a 5.5-inch full HD display with 400ppi, powered by 2.2GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, a 16MP rear camera with a 1/2.3” sensor, 8MP front facing camera and would run on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The device would come in two variants, the L260 and the L259, the former would feature 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage while the latter has 2GB RAM + 16GB inbuilt storage. In terms of connectivity the Life Pure XL dons HSPA+ network, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0. The down side of the device is its won’t support 4G LTE networks, no micro SD slot and it is still stuck on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.
PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The device would be made available in Black, Blue, White and Pink colours. The L260 with 32GB inbuilt storage + 3GB RAM has been available in US from Amazon on May 2nd in Black colour for $399 (around N64,000 to N66,000 in Naira). The white variant would be available on May 9th. While the L259 with 16GB inbuilt storage +2GB RAM would be available in US and Latin American retailers for around $349 (around N56,000 and N58,000 in Naira) in Black, White, Glimmer Pink and Royal Blue colours.

Update: The device supports HSPA+ 42Mbps instead of HSPA+ 21Mbps written on the image specs. And some high profile sources have branded the BLU Life Pure XL as branded Gionee Elife E7 interms of specifications.
