US based, BLU has just announced a new entry-level camera-centric smartphone – the BLU Studio C 8+8. The 5-incher, which could be said to be the camera focused version of the BLU Studio C, has a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash.
Available in Bronze, Dark Blue and Pink colour options, the BLU Studio C 8+8 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD display with Curved glass and is backed by 3000mAh battery, which is enough to offer up to 25 days of standby time and 75 hours of talk time.
The device is available in 3G and LTE models. The first model supports 2G and 3G networks and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 GPU, while the other model supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (Cat.4) networks and goes better with a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU.
The BLU Studio C 8+8 packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Micro USB v2.0 connectivity options.
