US-Based BLU Product has announced the launch of the BLU Vivo 6 in the UK. The new offering is reminiscent of the Gionee S6 Pro but this is not surprising since Gionee manufactures devices for other brand names as well as selling under their own brand name.
The Blu Vivo 6 relies on the octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor clocked at 1.8GHz along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage space. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD screen resolution, 2.5D glass layer and Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and Laser Autofocus alongside a front facing 8MP selfie camera. The device supports 4G LTE (Cat. 6) networks and the One Touch Finger Print Sensor is embedded into the front home button.
Backed by a 3130mAh battery with its 5V/2A charger, the BLU Vivo 6 uses the USB Type-C port, DTS Surround Sound and offers up to 20 days of standby time and a full day worth of standard usage. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and is listed up on Amazon UK at a price of $243.72 (£224.23) but currently out-of-stock. Gold and Rose Gold are the available colour options.
