BLU Products has announced its first ever Android Go edition smartphone – the BLU Vivo Go. It runs Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition) out-of-the-box and comes powered by the Mediatek MT6739 quad-core processor paired with IMG PowerVR GE8100 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB storage.
Priced starting at US$ 89.99 on Amazon, the BLU Vivo Go has a large 6-inch HD+ LCD 18:9 display with 87% screen-to-body ratio, Dual SIM slots, microSD card slot (expandable up to 64GB), rear fingerprint sensor and 2,600mAh Lithium ion battery with dedicated power saving key.
As expected, the smartphone comes pre-installed with tailored apps such as Android Messages App, Assistant Go, Maps Go and YouTube Go. It is equipped with a total of three cameras – 8MP + 0.3MP (VGA) dual rear cameras with single LED flash and support for recording 1080p videos at 30fps; alongside a single 5MP front selfie camera, also with LED flash.
The BLU Vivo Go supports 3G and 4G LTE networks (3G 850/900/1700/1900/2100 & 4G LTE 1/2/3/4/7/12/17/28) and is compatible with global carriers such as AT&T, Cricket, Metro by T-Mobile, Orange, Straight Talk, Telefonica, Tigo and T-Mobile.
