More device manufacturers are joining the 6-inch smartphone train and Bluboo is the latest one of them. The fairly rising Chinese company has announced the Bluboo Maya Max, a seeming Max and improved version of the competitively-priced and powerful Bluboo Maya.
Sporting a stylish full metal unibody design with satin finish; the Bluboo Maya Max sports a 6-inch JDI OGS display with (1280 x 720 pixels) HD screen resolution, measures 162 x 81 x 9 mm in dimensions, weighs 211 grams and derives energy juice from a sizeable 4200mAh battery with rapid charging.
On the inside, the device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box and relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. It also comes with a rear placed fingerprint scanner for security authentication.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 13MP camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and a front facing 5MP selfie camera (interpolated to take 8MP photos). Connectivity options onboard include – 4G LTE (Cat.6), Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
The Bluboo Maya Max has Dual SIM slots (with Dual Standby) and uses the USB Type-C port for charging up and transferring data. Although the final sale price is pegged at $179.99; the device is currently on pre-sale for $139.99 from August 17 – 20th and $159.99 from August 21th – 31st. Shipping is scheduled to begin by early September.
