Bluboo has announced the bigger model of its S8 smartphone, called the Bluboo S8+. If the moniker sounds a bit familiar, it is probably because the brand has adopted Samsung’s naming system for its current Galaxy flagships – the S8 and S8+, and the body design looks similar too.
Housed in a CNC crafted Zn-Ti alloy body (frame and rear plate), the Bluboo S8+ sports a 6-inch inCell IPS display from SHARP with 1440 x 720 pixels (HD+) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, 3D Curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is available in Deep Night Black, Mirror Silver and Sapphire Black colour options.
Internally, the device packs an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It boots 360 OS based on Android 7.0 Nougat OS and depends on a 3,000mAh battery with 5V/2A fast charger.
The Bluboo S8+ features a rear fingerprint sensor and comes equipped with dual rear cameras: 16MP + 3MP cameras with SONY IMX256 sensor and dual LED flash. The front camera is a 8MP snapper with screen flashlight. It is priced affordably at $179.99 but available for $30 for the first few weeks.
