No doubt, the mid-range market down to the budget one is filled up with various offerings from smartphone makers; to stand out, there is need to be some injection of creativity. Bluboo has decided to go down this path with their latest Android smartphone – the Bluboo XFire 2.
The Bluboo XFire 2 has support for three SIM slots, little wonder it is hyped as the ‘world’s first 5.0 inch Triple- SIM supported android phone’. The slots on the device can house either two Nano SIMs plus Oridinary SIM or one Oridinary SIM and Nano SIM while the third acts a MicroSD card slot but how much memory it adds is not known.
The device sports a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution and 2.5D arc suspended screen. It is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GH and Mali-400 MP GPU for graphics. The amount of memory and storage onboard is missing.
The camera details are also not detailed but Doogee is putting a front LED flash on the device for good selfies especially in low-light conditions. Expect the Bluboo XFire 2 to support 2G and 3G networks only; it will be available by January 2016 for a price tag of US$69.99 in Black colour option.
