Earlier this month, Bluboo made some bold claims when it announced the Xfire 2 smartphone with Triple SIM slot support. The company has gone back on its words by stating the device will actually come in two versions – Bluboo Xfire 2 (Dual SIM version) and Bluboo Xfire 2S (Triple SIM version).
The Dual SIM Xfire 2 model which is available on pre-order for $69.99, has support for Dual SIM slots and a microSD card slot while the Triple SIM Xfire 2S model which will launch next month (February) has support for Three SIM cards (i.e either Three SIMs or Two SIMs and a microSD card).
Moving to the device specifications, it relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor and sports a 5-inch 720p HD display with ‘U Type’ suspended screen which reduces the chance of screen breaking by 60% when dropped. It packs a fingerprint ID scanner on the back and up to Eight (8) different kinds of customized themes are available.
The Bluboo Xfire 2S (and Xfire 2) uses 1GB of RAM, rear facing 8MP OV Camera and front facing 5MP OV camera with Front fill flash, 88-degree wide angle lens. The Android Lollipop OS running device supports 2G and 3G networks, and is backed by a 2150mAh Li-Polymer battery (non-removable).
Alright, I am fascinated by this but with the rate at which the Naira fares with the dollar won’t make me order this.
I am from Papua New Guinea that doesnt sell triple sim smartphone but I am always interested with the triple sim of Bluboo Xfire 2S .
How can I buy one for myself? Is it an open line phone or restricted?
