Chinese device maker, Bluboo has teased a new smartphone – the Bluboo Xtouch Plus with 6-inch sized display. The company cites the Samsung Galaxy A9, Huawei Mate 8 and the just announced LeTV Le Max Pro as inspirations for the screen size but the processing power might not necessarily be up to these devices but the pricing would definitely be less.
According to the Bluboo Xtouch Plus image teased, the device sports a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (QHD or 2K), with a polished metal frame and glossy bamboo back cover is seen here. It is likely the back cover is removable and could be swapped to accomodate other back cover modes.
The choice of processor is unknown as it is likely the company is still mulling over it; the device will however use 4GB of RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.0 storage space. The Xtouch Plus has a front facing camera with Flash (unknown megapixels) and a rear facing 21-megapixels camera with Sony Sensor, LED flash.
There is a fingerprint sensor just below the main camera on the back and the whole shebang is powered by an ample-sized 5000mAh battery. It would be a generous feature for the Bluboo Xtouch Plus to be equipped with OTG support to allow the transfer of charge to other mobille devices. Pricing and availability details are still a mystery.
