Spanish smartphone maker, BQ Mobiles has announced two new Android one smartphones – the BQ Aquaris X2 and BQ Aquaris X2 Pro. Both smartphone feature 18:9 FullScreen displays, dual rear cameras and come pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS with promised updates from Google and BQ.
Both the BQ Aquaris X2 and Aquaris X2 Pro feature 5.65-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ IPS LCD displays with up to 650 nits brightness, IP52 splash-resistant designs, rear fingerprint sensors, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, microSD card slot (expandable up to 256GB via microSD), 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C ports and 3,100mAh batteries with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support.
In the camera aspect, both models feature 12MP + 5MP Samsung cameras with f/1.8 aperture, 1.29μm pixel size, PDAF and offers video recording up to 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 120 fps. The main cameras also have features such as Portrait mode, Face Beauty, and manual mode. For selfies and video calls, there is a front facing 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and records 1080p videos at 30fps.
Memory Options and Pricing Details
The major difference between the Aquaris X2 and X2 Pro comes in the aspects of processor, an also memory and storage options available.
The X2 is backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform paired with 3/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB built-in storage while the X2 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform paired with 4/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB built-in storage.

The BQ Aquaris X2 will arrive in Black and Sand Gold colour variants while the BQ Aquaris X2 Pro will come in Deep Silver, Glaze White and Midnight Black colours.
