LG has announced a new smartphone in Brazil with TV Antenna which is a common sight in the country. Dubbed the LG Prime Plus HDTV, the midrange device has similar body design as the upcoming G4 flagship.
The LG Prime Plus HDTV has its volume rockers, the power/unlock buttons on the rear just below the camera. Speaking of the camera, it has a 8 MegaPixels rear camera with LED flash; a front facing 5 MegaPixels sensor for selfies and the camera comes with some software features that lets users take selfie by ‘Making a Fist’.
It sports a 5-inch (1280 X 720 pixels) HD IPS LCD display, has 1W speaker for audio quality and has the same slightly curved body shape being touted on the LG G4. Under the hood it is powered by a quad-core processor (unnamed chipset) clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
The device derives it’s name – LG Prime Plus HDTV for its ability to view TV channels in HD. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi connectivity. It weighs 144.65 grams, measures 139.79 x 69.9 x 10.15 mm in dimension, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2460mAh battery.
