Indian based manufacturer, Karbonn has announced a new budget friendly device which is affordable but disappointedly runs Android Kitkat OS. Dubbed the Karbonn Titanium High Plus, the new entrant to the company’s Titanium series is available in Grey colour option for a price of Rs 5499 (US$ 82).
Running the already dated Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, the Karbonn Titanium High Plus sports a 5-inch display with 960 x 540 pixels (qHD) resolution and a pixel density of 220ppi. It is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Mali-400 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
For storage, there is 16GB built-in space and for storage expansion, a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB cards is available. For photography, there is a front facing 2-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash.
Connectivity options onboard includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB v2.0 port and 3G but no 4G LTE support. The Karbonn Titanium High Plus has Dual SIM slots with Dual Standby and is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to last up to two days of mixed usage.
