Zopo has announced a new smartphone – the Zopo Color S5.5 which will arrive in five color options – Artic White, Cobra Blue, Fuschia Pink, Onyx Grey and Sea Green. The device will be available for purchase by February 2016 and upgrade to Android Marshmallow via OTA is promised.
The Zopo Color S5.5 sports a 5.5-inch LTPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space out of which 4.99GB is available to the user and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
For photography, there is a front facing 2MP camera with 3P lens, f/2.8 aperture and OmniVision OV2680 sensor ; a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with f/2.8 aperture, Omnivision OV8858 sensor, 3P lens and Single LED flash. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB.
The Zopo Color S5.5 has Dual SIM slots, weighs 167 grams in size, measures 153.8 x 77.1 x 9.0 mm in dimensions and is backed by a 3000mAh removable Li-Po battery. It supports 2G GSM, 3G WCDMA and 4G FDD-LTE networks ; other connectivity options includes – USB OTG, GPS + GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
