ZTE has launched the successor of the budget-friendly ZTE A880 smartphone, the ZTE Xiao Xian 2 B880 (ZTE B880) as it is known comes with a fingerprint scanner and is currently priced at CNY 899 ($144) in China. Myzte.com is also offering a discounted price for the device.
The ZTE Xiao Xian 2 B880 has been widely tipped as the ZTE B880 and could use this moniker in other regions outside China. It comes with basic specs, supports 4G LTE connectivity, considerable lighter & compact, and the company has thrown in a biometric fingerprint scanner for an enhanced security experience.
It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD OGS IPS display with a pixel density of 256ppi. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735 processor with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
On the rear is a 13MP Autofocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options includes – Bluetooth, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Micro USB, US OTG, 4G and 3G. The ZTE Xiao Xian 2 B880 measures 142 x 70.7 X 8.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 126 grams, supports Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with MiFavor 3.0 Plus UI.
It is backed by a 2400mAh Li-ion battery and is available in a myriad of colour options including – Pink, Green, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow and White.
