Karbonn has announced a new budget 4G smartphone – the Karbonn Quattro L50 in India. The 5-inch sized device is available from Amazon India (Amazon.in) for a price tag of Rs 7,990 (US$ 118) in Blue, Coffee and Grey colour options. According to reports, selected offline retailers in the country are selling at a lesser price.
Moving to the specs, the Karbonn Quattro L50 sports a 5-inch IPS Full lamination display with screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. It measures 141 x 71 x 8.8mm in dimensions, weighs 134 grams in size and is backed by a 2600mAh battery.
The device relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot which accepts up to 32GB cards. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13-megapixels accompanied by an LED flash and a front facing 5-megapixels camera for taking video chats and selfies.
The Karbonn Quattro L50 has Dual SIM slots and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Connectivity options available includes – 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
