The Vodafone Tab Speed 6 is the latest Android-powered 4G tablet from Vodafone, the tablet is smaller and more affordable than the previous Tab Prime 6 but the design is pretty much the same. It is available for free on a £16 a month plan with 2GB of data or for £125 on Pay As You Go with no contract.
The carrier is confirmed to have collaborated with Chinese company, TCL Mobile communication to handle the manufacturing off the Vodafone Tab Speed 6.
It sports a 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA), powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Adreno 304 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB built-in storage space (11GB user available) and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 5MP FF camera and a front facing 2MP FF camera. The Vodafone Tab Speed 6 supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, measures 209 x 124.9 x 8.3 mm in dimensions, weighs 330 grams and is backed by a 4060mAh battery.
