The Celkon Campus Q405 is the latest device from the company’s Campus series which are all basically entry-level devices. It comes with a quad-core processor, supports 3G connectivity but still runs on Android Kitkat OS.
The device is expected to be available exclusively on Snapdeal starting May 22 for a price tag of Rs. 3199 (approx. $50).
The Celkon Campus Q405 features a 4-inch display with a resolution 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) display, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB space of internal storage.
For additional storage space, there is a micro SD card slot which allows the memory to be expandable with up to 32GB cards. In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video chats and probably selfies.
Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB 2.0 and 3G. It measures 124 x 64.2 x 9.9 mm in dimensions, supports Dual SIM functionality, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 1500mAh battery which should provide almost a day of mixed usage.
