Celkon has announced the Celkon Millennia Xplore, a new device in the Millenia series of smartphones from the company. The device costs $110 (Rs 6999) and is available in White with Gold colour option with a free smart cover included for every purchase.
The Dual SIM enabled Celkon Millennia Xplore is powered by a quad-core processor from Mediatek clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. It sports a 5-inch IPS OGS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), has smart gestures which lets users draw patterns on the screen to open an app and Double tap on the screen to wake the device.
8GB space of internal storage is available for files and apps plus there is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion up to 32GB. On the rear there is a 13MP Autofocus camera with LED flash and is capable of recording 1080p videos. The front camera is a 8MP snapper for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options on the Celkon Millennia Xplore includes – Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G HSPA+. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery which is expected to last some hours, has FM Radio and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
