The Celkon OCTA510 is the first smartphone from the company with an octa-core SoC and is said to be available exclusively from eBay.in. The Celkon OCTA510 is in direct competition with the recently released Xolo Omega 5.0 which has basically the same features and specs details as the device.
The Celkon OCTA510 like the name suggests features a 1.4GHz octa-core processor which is not stated but is looking likely to be the MediaTek MT6592M) and runs on Android 4.4 OS. It packs a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
It comes with 3G connectivity support and Dual SIM functionality. There is a front facing 3.2MP camera and a 3ear facing 8MP camera with LED flash. It measures 143.5 x 71 x 9.1mm, weighs 136 grams, supports GPS, Bluetooth and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. A 2000mAh battery completes the list of basic key specs.
The Celkon OCTA510 is available for Rs 8990 ($144) in White colour option from eBay.in.
