Celkon Win 400 WP 8.1 Smarphone with Snapdragon 200 SoC announced

Following the likes of Karbonn, Xolo, Micromax, Celkon is launching its first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone dubbed the Celkon Win 400. Though there has been no official word from the company, the device is expected to be available exclusively from Snapdeal for Rs. 4,999 ($81) in Black colour option only.

What do you expect from a $81 priced windows phone? Exactly not much, the Win 400 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (up to 32GB via microSD card). It sits on a 4-inch HD IPS display, a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, front facing 1.3MP camera, Dual-SIM functionality and Windows 8.1 OS.

The Celkon Win 400 measures 125.4 x 65 x 10.3mm, weighs 121 grams, and packs a 1500mAh battery which is expected to provide around 200 hours of standby time and 4 hours of talktime. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro-USB.
