The Fossil Q54 Pilot was one of the smartwatch unveiled at the CES 2016. The company’s third smartwatch and fifth wearable from the highly touted Fossil Q fashionable connected device will be available by Spring 2016 for a price tag of $175 – $215 depending on the band selected.
Inspired by vintage aviation design and one for the analogue watch lovers, Fossil Q54 Pilot is a non-display smartwatch powered by Intel innovation. Users will get buzz or filtered LED color coded notifications from favourites.
It also pack motion sensors to double as an activity tracker to track calories burned distance and steps. The Q54 Pilot has a wireless charging dock, colour strap options, connects to mobile devices via Bluetooth and is compatible with both Android and iOS OS devices.
The Fossil Q app has also been promised an update to bring new features and enhancements; they are – more app support, additional languages, enhanced activity reporting, good vibration and editing (Add or change) Profile photos.
Fossil also announced it would release 100 Wearables in 2016 to suit all and sundry with different preference and needs. Two new styles – tortoiseshell & shimmer horn of the Fossil Q Dreamer activity tracker released last year was also revealed, it will be available by Summer 2016 for $145.
