At the CES 2016, Haier announced two new windows tablets – the Haier HaierPad W800 and Haier HaierPad W203. Both devices run Windows 8.1 OS but information on pricing and availability is not disclosed.
Haier HaierPad W800
The Haier HaierPad W800 sports a 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixels IPS display, powered by a quad-core Intel processor clocked at 1.8GHz with 1GB of RAM and boots Windows 8.1 OS out-of-the-box. It has 16GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The HaierPad W800 is backed by a 4000mAh battery and has Bluetooth 4.0, micro HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity options as well as a front facing 0.3MP camera and a rear facing 3MP camera. Haier has plans to sell compatible accessories such as an optional keyboard and cover that doubles as a stand.
Haier HaierPad W203
The name may look deceiving but the Haier HaierPad W203 sports a 10.1-inch 1280 x 800 pixels display suited more for productivity and aluminium body build. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Z3735F processor clocked at 1.33GHz with 2GB of RAM and a 8000mAh battery.
There is 16GB built-in storage space onboard and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. Along with standard connectivity options, Haier is also threw in a full-size USB 2.0 port and micro HDMI port. In the camera segment, there is a front and rear facing 2MP cameras.
The Haier HaierPad W203 has an integrated stylus and a keyboard cover is also expected.
