Along with the budget Windows 8.1 tablets by Haier, the company also announced a new Windows 10 tablet – the Haier HaierPad W1225P. It will arrive in select European markets by Q2 2016 with a price tag of EUR 849 (keyboard included).
The 8.9mm thick Haier HaierPad W1225P weighs 850 grams in size, sports a 12.2-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) Full HD IPS display, powered by Intel Skylake-Y processor along with 4GB of RAM and comes pre-installed with Windows 10 OS. By attaching a keyboard, it becomes an ultraportable laptop.
The tablet has expandable built-in storage space up to 32GB and other key features includes – a microSD card reader, micro HDMI port, micro USB 3.0 port and a 8500mAh battery tipped to provide up to a day of usage. Haier is coy on most of the other details.
Haier also announced a new Ultrabook – a 4G laptop with ultra-slim design. It weighs 1.3kg, measures 12mm thick, sports a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display, 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB SSD storage and runs Windows 10 OS. Other key features includes – 4G LTE SIM card reader, charging port, SD card reader, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, micro-HDMI port and backed by a 11.1V, 26Wh Li-Polymer battery.
