CES 2016: LeTV Le Max Pro is the World’s First Smartphone with Snapdragon 820 CPU

‎Chinese company, LeTV has earned the bragging right for the first commercial smartphone with the Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm under the hood – the LeTV Le Max Pro. The unveiling happened at the CES 2016 event in Las Vegas but the company is not giving away any information on either pricing or availability yet. ‎

‎The LeTV Le Max Pro has the same body design a the original Le Max; it sports a 6.33-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels QHD display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with custom-made Kryo cores clocked at 2.2 GHz with Adreno 530 GPU, integrated X12 LTE modem and Hexagon 680 DSP all on-board. The RAM size is 4GB. ‎

‎Housed in an all metal body, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (with EUI) running Le Max Pro is also the first commercial device to use the ‎Snapdragon Sense ID ultrasonic fingerprint technology and will arrive in either 32GB, 64GB or 128GB built-in storage space.

For photography, there is a rear facing 21MP camera with OIS and a front facing 4MP Ultrapixel camera; the fingerprint scanner is just below the main camera. ‎The LeTV Le Max Pro is backed by a 3400mAh battery and also uses the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology which will see the device go from 0% to 60% in just about 30 minutes.

The device is equipped with ‎Dolby Atmos tech for quality audio output and multi-band Wi-Fi 802.11ad wireless connectivity with speeds up to 7Gbps.‎ Below is a video of the Le Max Pro from LeTV in action courtesy of MobileGeeks:
