At the Computex 2015 in Taipei, Taiwan, Philippines based company, Cherry Mobile announced two new Windows 10 Mobile OS running devices the – Alpha Prime 4 and the Alpha Prime 5. There is no word on the release Timeframe of the smartphones and pricing details , but it is expected to arrive after the Windows 10 Mobile has launched.
Both the Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 4 and Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 5 both run Windows 10 Mobile out-of-the-box and their specs are towards the lower end. The are both powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, have front facing 2MP camera and 4G LTE support.
The Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 4 sports a 4-inch display, 512MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera and 4GB space of internal storage. The Cherry Mobile Alpha Prime 5 on the other hand, sports a 5-inch display, 8MP rear camera, 8MP space of internal storage and 1GB of RAM.
Asides Microsoft, Cherry Mobile is the first company to announce Windows 10 based smartphones. There are talks of Microsoft announcing the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940XL smartphones which would also runs Windows 10 OS from the onset.
