Cherry Mobile has recently announced the Cherry Mobile Flare S Play; a 5-inch sized device with moderate specifications and built-in Digital TV for users to enjoy their favourite TV shows. The device will be available in coming week for Php 4999 (USD 106).
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS from the onset, the Cherry Mobile Flare S Play sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage.
For additional storage, there is microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB and in the camera segment, there is a front facing 5-Megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats and a rear-facing 13-Megapixels AutoFocus camera with LED flash as the main one.
Connectivity options on the device includes – micro USB. 2.0, 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Wi-Fi Hotspot. The Cherry Mobile Flare S Play has Dual SIM slots, built-in Digital TV and as with some of its listing, the battery capacity of the device is unknown.
