Filipinos based smartphone maker, Cherry Mobile has teamed up with the country’s leading Telco outfit, Globe Telecom to launch its own prepaid SIM cards called Cherry Prepaid. The new SIM will be available starting December 1st 2015.
Cherry Prepaid functions like most MVNOs around, the service will be reliant on the network infrastructures of Globe Telecom i.e users will enjoy mobile data on 2G and 3G networks. The SIM can be purchased for Php 29 (comes with Php10 Bonus Load every month for 3 months, Facebook for 2 days and 50 text messages to all networks for 2 days).
Prepaid cards would be available in Php 50, Php 100, Php 300 and Php 500 denominations. Cherry Mobile is also offering three phone bundles all embedded with Cherry Prepaid SIMs and freebies attached;
- • 399 Lite Bundle – CP1 Bar Phone + Php 30 bonus load (Php10 per month for 3 months)
• 999 Big Time Bundle – Astro Smartphone + Php150 bonus load (Php 50 per month for 3 months)
• 1699 Partner Bundle – Comet Smartphone and CP2 Bar Phone + Php 300 bonus load for Comet (Php 50 per month for 6 months), + Php 30 bonus load for CP2 Bar Phone (Php10 per month for 3 months)
