China’s third largest mobile telecommunication provider – China Telecom has announced the launch of the Hisense F22 in the home market. The mid-range smartphone is available via the carrier for a price tag of RMB 1,199 (US$ 174) in Gold colour option.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Hisense F22 relies on a 64-bit quad-core processor (possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917 or Mediatek MT6592M) clocked at 1.4GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).
The smartphone sports a full metal body, 5.5-inch TFT display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, measures 154.4 x 77.6 x 8.85 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 166.5 grams and backed by a modest 2380mAh battery. It has Dual Micro SIM slots and lacks a fingerprint sensor.
The Hisense F22 supports 4G LTE (Cat. 4) networks as well as Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity options. Photography is handled by a rear facing 8 megapixels camera with AutoFoucs and LED flash alongside a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats.
