Chinese telecom operator, China Telecom has announced the Huawei Enjoy 5S smartphone; the 5-inch sized device has an all-metal body build and packs some similar details compared to its predecessor – the Huawei Enjoy 5. It is available for a price tag of CNY 1499 (USD 234) in three colour options including Gold and Silver.
Going into details, the Huawei Enjoy 5S (HUAWEI TAG-CL00) sports the same 5-inch LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution but is now powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753T 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Mali-T760 GPU, 16GB built-in storage space and 2GB of RAM.
In the camera aspect, there is a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats and a rear facing 13-megapixels with LED flash. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB and connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB port and GPS.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S has Dual SIM slots (micro + micro), runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s Emotion UI ontop and curiously, it is backed by a smaller 2200mAh battery. Huawei itself is expected to announce the device tomorrow (Dec 3rd), so we will be keeping an eye on that.
