Following the recent launch at the CES 2017 weeks ago, China Telecom has commenced sales of the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3s in China. The 32GB model is available from the carrier for CNY 1999 (US$ 291) while the 64GB model is priced at CNY 2199 (US$ 320).
Moving to the specs, the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3s boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with a 5V/2A fast charger, that is expected to last about two days of mixed usage or up to 30 days on standby. It sports a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D glass and well rounded edges like the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, which gives a three dimensional feel.
The device packs 3GB of RAM, either 32GB or 64GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 2TB), and an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. In the camera segment, there is a 13MP camera with 13MP PixelMaster camera with PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
The front camera is an 8MP snapper for selfies. The ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3s has Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano) and is compatible with China’s network bands. It supports 4G LTE (Cat. 6 + LTE-A) as well as China Telecom’s 4G + carrier aggregation.
