Coolpad and the third largest mobile telecommunication provider in China, China Telecom, have both teamed up to commence the sales of the Coolpad B770S in China. The phablet sized device is available for a price tag of CNY 990 (US$ 148) in Gold colour option only.
Dressed in all metal body, the Dual SIM (Micro) enabled Coolpad B770S sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. It is backed by a fair 2500mAh battery which should last about a day of mixed usage.
On the inside, the device relies on a 64-bit Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735P processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage. There is also support for the telco’s key network terminals (FDD-LTE / TD-LTE / W-CDMA / TD-SCDMA / CDMA2000 / GSM).
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats. Some of the connectivity options on the Coolpad B770S include – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, micro USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz).
