Now that Microsoft has relaxed its licensing rule concerning devices between 4-inch and 9-inch displays, we have seen the number of smartphones and tablets using the windows OS increase. The number of OEMs now using Microsoft’s Windows OS (Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 with Bing) for smartphones and tablet this year alone is the already known companies plus another 50 (50 more OEMs announced).
Impressive huh? Chuwi is no different as a similar tablet, the Chuwi V10HD 3G windows tablet went official some days back. Chuwi has announced a similar tablet but this time around with a Dual-Boot OS; running Windows 8 and Android OS (4.4 kitkat OS possibly).
The highlight of the Dual boot Chuwi V10HD tablet is its ability to switch between Windows OS and Android OS; and ability to meet the diverse needs of the user. The device features a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels OGS display, powered by an 1.83GHz Intel Atom Bay Trail processor, 2GB of RAM as well as 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity support.
Users would be curious about the tablet’s Battery Life, storage, camera and other connectivity options. These infos were not made available but one can borrow some leaf from the Chuwi V10HD 3G windows tablet announced; the specs are near similar (if not the same specs).
The Dual boot Chuwi V10HD tablet is available for a ¥1,699 ($277) price tag in China. The tablet could cost more if ever gets to leave the shores of China and sell internationally.
I have a CHUWI V10hd – cannot figure out how to boot into windows 8 – it just boots into Android…help!
There is a supposed OS switch button in the Quick Settings menu which let’s you switch between different OS. However you might likely have to reboot to change OS.
