The CloudFone CloudPad X is one of the latest Dual Boot OS Tablet in the Philippines. The new 8-inch tablet is the follow up to the similar CloudFone Epic 8.0 from last year and is available for a price tag of Php 6999 (US$ 149) and can be purchased from CloudFone Stores and Kiosks in the Philippines. A Free case and Keyboard is included in every purchase.
Packed in a lightweight chassis with a mix of glass (front and rear) and metal, the CloudFone CloudPad X sports a 8-inch IPS OGS LCD display with 1024 x 768 pixels (XGA) screen res and magnetically attaches to the included keyboard, which converts it into a mini notebook/laptop.
The highlight of the CloudPad X is the Dual Boot OS feature. The slate initially runs Windows 10 OS but users can switch to and back from the dated Android 4.4 Kitkat OS by a simple tap on the taskbar. To switch back from Android to Windows, scroll to the Drag Down menu and select ‘OS Switch‘.
On the inside, the CloudFone CloudPad X relies on a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked at 1.8GHz with Intel HD graphics, 2GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 64GB via microSD. For photography, there is a front 2MP camera and a rear placed 5MP main camera.
The rest of the specs includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0 and 4000mAh battery (non-removable).
