At the Computex 2015, Colorfly announced the Colorfly i783 Pro tablet which would Boot Dual OS – Android and Windows as expected. It relies on an Intel Atom SoC and is expected to go on sale for a price of $80 (RMB 499). It is currently selling on JingDong Mall in China.
The Colorfly i783 Pro tablet disappointedly is still powered by the Intel Bay Trail processor where most OEMS are now moving to Intel Cherry Tail processor. The quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F clocked at 1.33 GHZ (goes up to 1.83GHz in Turbo Boost technology mode) and uses an integrated Intel HD Graphics as GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
It uses a 7.9-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) resolution display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 162ppi, which makes it more suitable for running office application, Web browsing and others. On the rear, there is a 2MP camera and a front facing 0.3MP (VGA) camera. Connectivity options includes – micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, mini HDMI HD output,
Like I said earlier, it boots Dual OS – both Android 4.4 kitkat OS and Windows 8.1 OS with a fast key which let’s you switch between OS. The body build is made from aluminium alloy material, measures 8.8mm thin and is backed by a 3450mAh battery capacity.
