The Colorfly i783A is one of the latest set of Android tablets released into the Chinese market; the Wi-Fi only tablet which takes after the Original iPad Mini is available through JD.com for a price tag of CNY 399 (USD 62). It could be available from third-party retail websites for a higher price.
The Colorfly i783A sports a 7.85-inch IPS display with 4:3 aspect ratio, resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 163ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Intel Bay Trail 3735F processor clocked at 1.33GHz (up to 1.87GHz in Turbo mode) with 7th Gen Intel HD graphics, 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
It measures 200 x 135 x 7 mm in dimensions, weighs 360 grams, has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB and is backed by a 3450mAh battery. For photography, there is a front facing 0.3-megapixels camera for video calls and a rear facing 2-megapixels camera as the main one.
The Colorfly i783A sports an all metal body build, does no make voice calls due to the absence of cellular connectivity. Other connectivity options onboard includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, built-in GPS, micro USB v2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro HDMI port for connecting to peripherals. This version runs Android OS only.
