Joining the growing list of OEMs like Sony, HTC and Motorola, the list of eligible Huawei mobile devices for Android 6.0 Marshmallow update has also been released. Being one of the Nexus phone makers (Nexus 6P), Huawei had access before other device manufacturers.
The list contains both smartphone and tablets from Huawei which will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update; the devices would however not get Stock Android but rather Marshmallow with the company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) ontop.
The company also confirmed that of the Huawei Honor 7 when it was launched in India recently, the device will get the Beta Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by January 2016 and the stable version by February 2016.
